Kitty Cat
I am totally obsessed with a blogger known as The Pioneer Woman. She has different tabs on her site which can take you into her homeschooling life, recipes, tasty kitchen (others submit recipes), confessions and photography. She puts out photo assignments. I haven't participated in her photo assignments until this latest one. This one is cats.
Last weekend 3 of us from the photo club got together to chat and go out to eat. It was a rainy miserable day so we hung out and took a few shots at Tracey's house. She has a very interesting dog as well as a very interesting cat that Jody and I were shooting. I wanted to practice with my speed light. Get it to make like I didn't use flash, which I'm usually unsuccessful.
Anyways, I submitted to PW's photo assignment this photo:

I went onto flickr.com this morning and seen that someone had commented on the photo congratulating me on this image making group 1.
Imagine my shock that PW chose my photo. I was so happy and elated and surprised and wondering what is wrong with this woman's eyes. I see so much wrong with this photo. The reason why I posted this image is because well, Duke is a cat and that I used flash and the image doesn't look to flashy. Well, to me anyways.
Thank you Tracey for letting me shoot your cat :)
PS to Jody and Tracey. I have posted links to your facebook groups. Let me know if they don't work. I seem to have a problem posting links from facebook.
